Nyotaimori Tokyo is a team of artists that began Nyotaimori performances in 2015.
Have you heard of "Nyotaimori"? Nyotaimori is an old underground activity that began in Japan's Edo period, where sashimi is served and eaten on a woman's body. 
It seems that Nyotaimori is a fantasy born of a warped atmosphere of Japanese that think gender as taboo. 
We decided to face this taboo head-on, and try to propose a new Nyotaimori.
It aims for artistic expressions by overturning the image that Nyotaimori has had previously, decorating the human body and treating it symbolically alongside food.
It's more modern interpretation and is to repackage as the open vision, and I'd like to renew people's sex, recognition to beauty and a sense of values.

Out of respect to the performers, we prohibit the audience from directly touching the body.
The model is decorated with flowers and other ornaments, food is served and the meal is taken to the audience. 
This view as well as being a chic game that realizes fantasies, it is also a ritual performance. 

The sense of values NYOTAIMORI TOKYO is going to express would produce pros and cons.
Including sex and race, it shuts out any unpleasant gaze towards the human body,
we are considering what beautiful expression is beyond it, and would like to produce something which the person is impressed by.
